Administrators with appropriate permissions can control market session state and platform configuration.
Market session control
Halting the market
In exceptional circumstances, administrators can halt trading:
- Navigate to Management Panel → Admin
- Click Halt Market
- Confirm the halt — all trading stops immediately
- Active orders remain in the book but no matching occurs
Resuming the market
- Click Resume Market in the Admin panel
- Select the target session state (Pre-Open, Auction, or Open)
- Confirm — trading resumes in the selected state

Halting the market affects all participants. Use only when necessary and communicate the reason to market participants.
Platform configuration
The Configuration panel allows administrators to manage:
- Market hours — trading session schedule
- Auction window — duration of the opening auction
- Product catalogue — active products and contracts
- DST settings — daylight saving time transition handling
Changes to platform configuration require approval from a second administrator before taking effect.
